Mary Kinney Company has been in business in LaGrange for over 13 years. Mary Kinney first opened on Main Street in the location where the Irish Rover Too is now located and was named "Mary Kinney Millinary." She initially rented space in Iron Horse Antiques and carried yarn and felted wool items that she had hand made from the wool of her own flock of sheep. She began to carry other items and eventually grew into a specialty gift shop that features Vera Bradley and many other fine gifts.
Mary and Nancy are a mother and daughter team that became co-owners in January of 2006. Nancy previously taught school in Oldham County for two years after having lived in California for five years. While in California, Nancy worked as a Reading Specialist in the Vista Unified School District.
